Donating to the Loughborough Bellfoundry Trust appeal

If you would be interested in supporting the ‘Saving the last major Bellfoundry in Britain’ project, please find further information below.

We will be launching our fundraising campaign later this year, but in the interim, there are several ways in which you can support and donate to the project, as set out below. If you do not wish to donate directly, but would like to help us with our fundraising efforts, please contact us via email (info@loughboroughbellfoundry.org) and we will get in contact with you.

How to donate

There are a couple of ways that you can currently donate to the project, these are as follows:

By post: Please send a cheque made payable to The Loughborough Bellfoundry Trust to the following address: Mr D Potter, Trustee, The Bell Foundry, Freehold Street, Loughborough, LE11 1AR. We would be most grateful if you could clearly state that the funds are for the ‘Saving the last major Bellfoundry in Britain’ project. Please let us know if you would like your donation to be acknowledged. Please do not send any cash through the post.

Paying directly: If you would like to pay directly into the Trust’s bank account please call Kate Pinnock, Advisor to the Trust on 07974 363991.

Loughborough Bellfoundry Trust is a registered charity no. 1166562

Please note that The Loughborough Bellfoundry Trust have received a first round pass from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, and the Trust is currently developing its proposals further for a second round submission in the summer of 2020. As such the funding from the National Lottery is not 100% secured. If the second round bid is not successful, we propose to use all donations to deliver repair works to the foundry buildings.
