EVENT: Wisbech High Street consultation events

On Thursday 12th June and Saturday 14th June 2014 from 10.00am – 12.00pm, Fenland District Council invites you to come and visit their stall in the Market Place to discuss plans for Wisbech High Street. We are keen to understand how you would like to get involved with the project.

Wisbech has a wonderful legacy of historic buildings and public spaces whether it is the grand buildings along the North Brink or the intimate terrace around the Crescent.  Whilst many buildings are well maintained and regularly repaired, we know that some are in poor condition and some are sadly derelict. Fenland District Council alongside local partners such as the Wisbech Society are working hard to prepare and submit a funding application to the Heritage Lottery Fund in August to help restore buildings on the High Street in Wisbech.

We would like to know how you would like to get involved with the project.  Whether you want to simply learn more about historic buildings and conservation, learn new skills or simply find out more about the history of Wisbech please come along and tell us what would be most useful for you.
