The Heritage Lottery Fund awarded the Town Hall Restoration Project a £2.2m grant in 2016 and since then the building has undergone a painstaking restoration which is now complete.

The ground floor space has been let to Pierreponts who currently run Pierreponts Café in Goring on Thames.  Pierreponts café pride themselves on high-quality, locally sourced food and great customer service.  It is hoped that the new café at the Town Hall will be open during the autumn once the internal fit out has been completed.

The self-catering apartment in the attic space is to be managed by Mulberry Cottages who manage holiday cottages across the south of England and specialize in providing a unique experience for visitors. The attic space has been transformed to provide a stunning self-catering let and will be available to book from early autumn.

This is fantastic news for the project and marks another major milestone on the journey to breathing new life and resilience into the much-loved Town Hall.

Steph Kingsland, Pierreponts café says We’re delighted to be opening here in Brackley, the re-furbished Town Hall is such a perfect fit for a Pierreponts café. The style of the building is wonderful and will make for a welcoming space for residents and visitors to the town alike. I’m especially excited at the opportunity to get involved in a place where I grew up and have so many happy memories from my childhood.”

Rebekah England, Head of Property and Partnerships says “Mulberry Cottages are delighted to be marketing and holiday letting The Loft at Brackley Town Hall, on behalf of Brackley Town Council. A stay at The Loft in this iconic historic building is going to offer an unforgettable experience whether you are visiting for business, a holiday or even a wedding in the Town Hall below!”
